Common name: Neutered bull, wild ox or ox.

Characteristics: It is an artiodactyl mammal. It is a castrated bull (it must be castrated between 12 and 14 months, it can not do it before because it would break the anabolic process or later because it would cause stress to the animal), formerly used so that together with a cart and another ox (two) could transporting loads especially from agricultural tasks, at present it is not so usual anymore, since thanks to the Industrial Revolution the ox was changed by machines such as the tractors.
Their colors vary from painted, white, black, brown, they are slow and peaceful animals. Its weight is between 750-1350 kg

Uses: As cargo cattle, for the extraction of honey (they move in a circular way moving a trapiche), it is also used for fattening and slaughter.

Feeding: Like bulls and cows, it is based on forage and feed, rich in fiber. In open areas it requires grass and herbs.

Reproduction: Before castration, the bull must mount the cow, which will have the offspring in the womb.
